first_imgHEAVY RAIN AND wind will continue in areas this morning, as Met Eireann warns that warmer weather is still some time off.Some spot flooding may occur before rain turns showery in the afternoon, with occasional bright or sunny spells. Overall, today will be windy and blustery day, with strong and gusty southwest winds veering west to northwesterly. Top temperatures will reach between 10–14 C.The weather is predicted to stay changeable and unsettled, and temperatures will be below normal for the time of year.Friday will see cool and breezy conditions, with some rain or showers at times, but some dry clear spells too. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 C.Saturday will also be cool, breezy and fairly cloudy, with some heavy rain at times. However, there will also be some bright or short sunny spells. Top temperatures will reach 10–12 C.Sunday morning will see some bright or sunny spells, but cloudy, damp weather will later take over. Top temperatures 12–15 C.Next week will also be unsettled and changeable, with showers and longer spells of rain extending in from the Atlantic.
